Connected 1 port to usb c amp meter and one port to ssd. USB port at 5v

Hi just checked and found PMU_CLK32K_SOC shorted. a small test point near the PPBUS fuse. Removed R8331 and the short still remains. BAD CPU ?

Changed both CD3217s. still turning on with battery but not charging. Its not even detecting any external usb device as well. PPDCIN_AON_CHG_R pulsing with amp meter.

4 - 12.2V 2 - 0.20V 17 - 0.006V 24 - 0.03V

What is to be done now ?

Device came in stuck at 5V. It had a 3v8_aon short 1 year ago fixed by us. Now we see C830A is agreen. PP1v2_s2 is shorted. Replaced caps. Device turns on but will only run on a charger. Before we could check any further the device is now back to 5v and cycling from 0 amp to 0.030 amps. PPBUS...

Which CD3215? Have already replaced one as mentioned before.

Last ditch effort of changing CD3217s ?

Replaced UF000. Still same issue. Amp meter pulsing. Basically its not charging the battery and is stuck at 5V
