No, CPU VCORE now is 0V. As I know this board needs to have good battery connected to boot, right?

    820-01949 brain dead

Board alone takes 20V and is floating around 0.075A. PLT_RST_L is not comming on, it's flat 0V, it doesn't even spike.

    820-01949 brain dead

Hi, I'm working on 820-01949 board which has slight coffee spill on it. Affected areas are R7439, some corrosion on caps around 7210 and U7100. R7100/7101 have been eaten away along with their pads. I have cleaned up all corrosion, replaced components, resoldered U7100 and recovered traces...

Sadly it doesn't work, fans are spinning but nothing other happens - no chime or image, only two leds on board turns on.

    820-00292 clean BIOS request

There is a big difference in iMac behaviour with this BIOS. It chimes, lets enter to boot menu, but doesn't see internal SSD. It detects external drives and OS installers, but doesn't boot to them, keeps restarting while loading, but after restart there is no message about problem. Can I ask you...

820-01958 no backlight after closing and opening the lid

Interesting, I have replaced all components related to that line (right speaker which includes hall sensor, audio board with new flex cable, J6100 which was corroded) and nothing has changed. I'll test your solution tomorrow and let know about results.

820-01958 no backlight after closing and opening the lid

I've been thinking about that, but haven't tried yet. Do you think there is another way to return SMC_LID_RIGHT to 1,8V? There is no short on this line nor resistors have bad readings...

    820-00138 stuck on Apple logo

Hi! I'm working on 820-00138 which is not booting to OS. Actually for most of the time it's stuck on Apple logo, there is even no progress bar. Sometimes after many SMC resets it will load OS to user screen or opens boot drive selection, but for most of the time there is only Apple logo. Board...

Second one fixed too - though J8300 looked perfect I decided to replace it and that was the trick, backlight is back again.

820-00138 no backlight though has 51,2V on output

Both boards have 51,2V on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT, so that's not the case ;) I feel, that there is something small I'm missing again..

820-00138 no backlight though has 51,2V on output

Ok, I have repaired one of the boards (the one which has been worked on). It turns out I made a mistake measuring J8300 and missed pin 8 LCD_BKLT_PWM_R. There was R7780 missing on the board. Now this one works. The second one is still on process...

820-00138 no backlight though has 51,2V on output

    Resistors and traces around U8302 are OK. These are voltages on U8302 (LCD connected): pin 1 - 3,3V pin 2 / 5 - 3,3V pin 3 - 3,3V pin 4 - 3,3V pin 6 - 3,3V

820-00138 no backlight though has 51,2V on output

    Without LCD: I2C_BKLT_SCL - 0,488v I2C_BKLT_SDA - 0,488v With LCD: I2C_BKLT_SCL - 0,463v I2C_BKLT_SDA - 0,462v Are you sure you meant Q8032? I can't find it on BV (820-00163/820-00426) nor schematic for 820-00138. Maybe Q8302? Yes, I'm still getting image on the screen.
