Hey guys, history: no green light on charger, fixed it, now starting, fans spinning, no chime, no picture/backlight cpu vcore is present, goes up to 1.12v then jumps to 0.9v any help? dead cpu?

okay. new chip is on the board. amp meter shows: 5V / 0.08 - 0.11A unstable 3.8V are there! (PP3V8_AON) PP5V_S2_MAIN: 2.3V-2.6V unstable. how can i check that U8100 is soldered on correctly?

injected voltage again. no amps drawn...no short? measured again before injection -> beep mesaured again after injection .150 in diode mode. hows that possible? good sign?

got the chip. removed the chip. short is still there...

got no chip / donor board here. any idea where to get this awesome apple chip?

U8100 get up to 100 degrees celsius.... the chip itself and the area looks like new...

no other good board here. there is a problem with PP3V8_AON. multimeter beeps. theres a short but cant detect it? the area around q5800/20/40...?

fuses removed. on C5250 12.27V / amp meter shows 5V 0.01A

changed. PPBUS_AON = 6.87 / 6.88 V PP3V8_AON = 2.23V

any ideas?

no other multimeter here. multimeter should be good...

these readings from usb-c connected charger. (140w) 7V without battery connected. just charger. diode mode readings -> without nothing connected. just the board.

Hey guys, got a m1 14" here. coffee damage. amp meter shows 5V 1A my readings: PPBUS_AON: 7V (.450 diode mode reading) PP3V8_AON: 2,27V (diode mode peeps, 2,7 ohm reading, cant really find a short there?) PP5V_S2_MAIN: 0V (.384 diode mode reading) backlight area looks bad. can you help...

okay, i think its like bad soldering. put another new one on it. on the good side its booting up now, got an apple and login screen. on the bad side same behaviour... i thought every cd3217 should be good to boot up?

okay, whats going on here... put another chip on it. on this chip the amp meter shuts off and on in a loop. on the same side the cd3217 gives me 5v 0.26a on the other side i get on both chips 20.4v - jumping to 0.3a and then to 0.02a...whats happening here?
