820-01041 with tiny bit of corrosion on C9081. I thought it was the usual shorted C9081 but diode mode on PPBUS_G3H_SSD0_SNS is giving me 0.036 and resistance to ground is 80ohms But after removing C9081 i still get 0.0036 diode mode on PPBUS_G3H_SSD0_SNS. U9080 culprit?

replaced F7140, no change

removing F7140 makes PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_REG stable, so i guess there must be a short upriver. I couldnt find any shorts around U7501

820-3662 with tons of corrosion. It has no green light and no fan spin. PP20V_DCIN_FUSE is 3.1v (using OEM known working 85w charger) Replaced Q7180 and D7010, no change. Diode mode on PPBUS_G3H is 0.400 and PP3V42_G3H is 0.275

It was the ISL, even though it was drawing almost 1 amp at 4v it wasnt generating noticeable heat. I removed it just in case and the short was gone. Thanks a lot.

Sorry, i had an error in the tittle. It recognizes the charger all right. The battery is whats not recognized. Diode modes: SCL: 0.00 SDA: 453 SMBUS_SMC_5_G3_SCL is shorted. I removed D7050 but no chanage. Could it be shorted under J7050?
