I replaced R8431/2 , even though they were measuring good and I got backlight. Also I replaced Q8400 to future-proof since F8400 was also burned

Nothing obvious and the big caps the one blown I replaced. I will recheck everything and revert

All rechecked and they go to the places where they needed to and I measured the resistors themselves and measured the values by schematics , all good

Yes, I do get 5V_S0SW_LCD on the connector, measured on C8512, of course with LCD attached

Yes I tested with another one also, but as I said it's not boosting with any up to 50v

Also, I rewired the LCD backlight flex some time ago and it's good checked, and I get voltages to it. No other corrosion on the board. Value on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT is 0.700, unlike other boards which are higher

Hi guys. I have this A1708 with a backlight issue. There was corrosion damage on U8400 and surrounding it. I replaced U8400, C8471(shorted), and C8441 and all resistors are fine. I was getting on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT 12v, but then I changed also D8410 and Q8410, just in case. I measured of course...

C7801 was shorted, i removed it and now it's stuck at 5v and around 0.04a but at times it goes 0.2a

C8315 I get 3.8v PP1V5_VLDOINT_MPMU - 1.5v The lowest resistance I get around U8100 is 033 on L8100 and on U7700 I get 018 on L7740 I noticed that PP5V_BSTLQ_VOUT_SPMU is shorted, and when i inject voltage 0.5v the wire heats up but no components on that line

Hi. He came back, I replaced U5700 and U5200. The pulsing of U5200 now it's not there and I have power cycling 5v and 0.04-0.05 but it goes at time 0.100. PP3V8_AON_VDDMAIN is 3.8v

Hi :) Another question about this one... Now the battery is reading and charging, I also installed a new os but it still shows service battery. All components are back in place. I tried multiple batteries and also different flex cables for the batteries. Any suggestions?

The last comment was a joke. I must be very tired not to notice that I've plugged in the cable the other way around. That solved the battery reading, now jus to solder back U6950 cause it's showing service , maybe it's even gone bad the battery

There's only one way to connect it, with the contacts pointing down, right?
