Was fixed after replacing power button and entering dfu mode by normal way. Not force dfu... Problem was while power button was pressed(because of power button of 16" was installed) installing Mac OS... So there was no hardware issue only de firmware or boot partition was trashed. Everything...

Also, now when the logicboard is out of the enclosure and only connected to the amp meter. It looks like it's booting but after 15 sec turns off and restarts this proces.

    820-02098 power button broken.

Hi, got this a2442 with a broken screen. Was working well only screen cracked and power button not functioning. The previous repair shop already opened it and cut the flex cable of the power/touchID button. I wanted to test with a powerbutton of a 16" a2485, looked like the same in the...

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

By some miraculous reason it works now. Al this time I was testing it out of the casing only with a screen connected. I removed RP842 and forgot the put it back. When I put The logic board back in the casing it worked?! Only some times de screen stays black until the login screen comes. then...

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Back at it again! Was on a holiday. Got my small LCD cable but still no luck. Now im thinking this was the problem all along... But while I was looking somewhere else I destroyed something! I noticed that RP842 pin 1 has a diode mode reading 0.019 and 0v which was 0.187 and 0.8v. But should...

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Could not see anything extraordinary on UD050... Figured out something else! On the small lcd flexcable pin 24 is broken. On the connector on the logicboard I get a good diode measurement (0.507) but when I connect the small lcd flex cable I get a O/L on the other side... So the LCD doesn't get...

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Tried but no luck! What I noticed is that “RP851 starts with 5.1v as soon as image apears goes to 4.8v” this is not 4.8v it stays 5.1v. but the scl line still starts with 5.1v and goes to 4.8v. So as I understand there is no good communication… What can I look at more?!?

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Can't I just transform the low signal (0.8v) u8100 is giving to 1.8v? How would that work? I have a lot of donor boards but don't now which part I can use... Apart from the backlight, this logicboard works perfectly with external screen and dim internal screen... ps. this MacBook came in as...

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Hi, I read another forum that the backlight chips are interchangeable... Seems like not an issue with UP800... But even when UP800 removed pin 17 stays @ 0.187 in diode mode! Should this not be 0.374? https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=102194&highlight=m1+backlight&page=3

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Ohh you mean the chip needs communication before it will get enable signal. But shouldn’t diode mode reading on EN pin 17 still be 0.374? Im having a feeling the source of the enable signal is effected when up800 was shorted… Is there a way to rule that out?

    820-02020 No backlight 0,8v on BKLT_EN_R

Wauw, the fuse FP800 was blown... Gave 2.4v on pin 2. Changed that now getting 12v on source QP800, but gate is also 12v so no power to drain... Still think, it has something to do with the Enable signal? After all without EN the chip doesn't do anything... Why do you think EN is 0,8V? Is this...
