I realized the chip is far to small for my CH341 is there an adapter I can get to be able to use this programer or will I have to get a different programer?

I will try this thanks! Will it be a problem to use a 13" M1 MacBook Pro running the latest MacOS and Apple Configurator 2?

    Sorry for the quote. I was not able to get to this for a long time, but anyway, here are the voltages. Where I write a dash it's because the voltage is bouncing from zero to that voltage and back to zero... L7810 = 0.0v - 0.84v L7812 = 0.0v - 0.82v L7809 = 0.0v - 0.75v L7815 = 0.0v - 1.1v L7816...

So I guess that means I would have to remove the metal cover around that area?

I have time to get back to this now. so now I see you're right and both ports are getting 19.7v and cycling from 0.05a up to 0.11a, then all over again. I have not removed the metal cover around U7800, as that seems like a big job and not sure how I would tackle that one if I need to. Any other...

820-1814-A Will only power on sometimes

Sorry that guy didn't want to wait for me to solve the problem, he just sold it for parts and moved on. I have the exact same problem with a 820-01987-A of my own. I will start a new thread for that one. Hope to hear from you on that thread. :)

820-1814-A Will only power on sometimes

I'm not sure about this MacBook. Customer brought it in and it wasn't working (not powering up). It was 19.6v and staring with low amps 0.05a, then stepping up bit by bit until 0.86a, then back down to 0.05a and doing that cycle over and over again. I was reading here where someone else has a...

I'll have to remove the shield around U7800, but I can do it today, so I'll post back when I can do that. Thanks!

Unfortunately it's not recognized in DFU mode. Seems like I don't get 20.02v as often anymore. Strange that if I start moving the plug from one port to another, after the first couple of times, it no longer gets 20.02v on any port. Just goes to 5.04v - 5.07v and from 0.11a - 0.45a then resets...

Yes, it is the original Apple 61W that came with my 13" M1 MacBook Pro. What else could be wrong in this case?

    820-01987 No power

I believe this MacBook uses a 61W power adapter. I was thinking you could be correct after reading your reply, but then after checking the website, it still says 61W for this MacBook. Could that be wrong?

Yes, the A1706 connector was the same after check the pins on the schematic. The connector on the board looks perfect as did both connectors on the flex cables I tried, but still randomly getting 20.2v on at lease on plug and then next time I try it it shows 5.02v ... Any idea why?

I do not get consistent results on all ports in either direction. Sometimes 20.02v sometimes it's 5.02v. I was thinking it was my tester, but I have confirmed the tester is fine. I also tested the ports and checked the connector. The all seem fine. The voltage on PPBUS_G3H is 12.33v with the...

    820-01987 No power

Hi, I have an issue where sometimes I plug the board in, I get only 5.02v and 0.32a and other times when I move the power cord from one port to the other it will go to 20.02 v and bounce from 0.00a - 0.07a. it will do this until I pull the plug. When it shows 5.02v and 0.32a it will jump to...
