Would you mind measuring your R7780 and R7781 values just for me, mine both measure 193K but my schematics says...
I first attempted to reprogram the chip onboard and had no success, so I removed it and was able to read, erase and reprogram with file linked above. Unfortunately there is still no change in behavior. Anything else come to mind? Its so frustrating having a machine with power and charge...
Here's my test setup before I tackle the real deal. I used 220ohm resistors and a 200uF capacitor as substitutes. It worked beautifully. Thank you.

my test chip was a 1MB EN25F80-75HCP off an old compaq latop.

Like the title says, 820-2530-A, charges battery, shows power and charge leds, turns on with battery or charger alone, fan spins normally for the first few minutes then slowly speeds up to max rpm, cpu warms, video warms...however no chime, hence no display.
