Still not sure about PLAYING witch switch.

Each switch has TWO STATES = ON and OFF.
After installd the switches what PLAYING means? turning the board with both SWITCH ON?
or you can call it PRESSED and UNPRESSED states
About your picture still far...
Sorry I didn't know you where at the hospital wish you recover as fast as possible.
Thanks for the image it gave me a better ideia. But can you take a closer picture showing the soldering of the pads. So I match it the same way.
Also should I turn on computer fully assembled with both SWITCH ON?

You are right.
I just got 2 external switch. Can you help me solder it to the board. Dont want to make any mistake
About playing with switch should I disconnect the battery and turn on with BOTH of them ON?
I don't have any external switch but I think it's totally doable with jumpers as I see some people doing it even with tweezers on RE032.
However there's is not well documented video for my model and also "playing with" RE030.
Your responses often lack the depth needed to effectively...
Still not clear.
By SWITCH you mean a jumper soldered into PIN1 of RE032 (SOC_FORCE_DFU) to PIN 4 of RE030 (PMU_ONOFF_L)?? If not please describe with more details
By SWITCH you mean a jumper that is cut in the middle so I can connect it to each other points to get into DFU and then...
To be honest with you.
I just tried following the wiki tutorial and using a tweezer from PIN 1 to PIN 2 on RE032 and then plugging the charger cable and NO BEHAVIOR at all.
What's next?
Great
Do you have video/image to for this instructions?
Also according to the detail of what I give you related to the board. Now you think that forcing DFU will make it?
Ok then I am making confusion.
But I still used an A1706 as the master, and a Macbook Pro WITH m3 not sure the model I couldn't put this 00850-A which is a A1989 into DFU.
The commands are POWER + RIGHT SHIFT + LEFT CONTROL + LEFT OPTION right?
Using the usb-c closest to the trackpad...
and a question that I sitll not 100% clear.
Is it possible to put a 100% working computer into DFU? Or only machines that had problem?
If yes.
What could be wrong putting 2 WORKING A1706 into DFU? Following the exact commands on the internet. Trying with 3 different charger cable. Trying...
Great
I am not getting it to this case.
By the way got a mbp m3 with sonoma and also not able to put computer on DFU.
How can I go ahead with it? Should I compare LDO?
Yes I am not able to put in DFU and I have 2 working macbooks here
I tried with 3 different charger cables (2 original and 1 chinese all of them charges perfectly any machine)
Also the MBP which I use as the MASTER on these target DFU 100% working macbooks is a MBP A1706 with Ventura...
I think you totally did not understand
FORGET THE DAMAGE MBP FOR A MINUTE
I am with two working MBP 2016. Trying to test DFU mode in one of them. I couldn't put them on DFU. Then there is this issue about apple configurator to be installed on SONOMA (MACOS 14)
why is it not working? Do I...
I used 3 charger cable (2 original and 1 Chinese MFI verified)
I used a MBP 2016 however I already used it a year ago to DFU and it did the job. Its over a year without using DFU on this computer and also I tried to install apple configurator on another MBP 2016 which mentioned REQUIRED MACOS...
Another important thing but its been really weird.
I have a MPB 2016 with Apple Configurator 2 installed and I tried DFU using it as the Master Notebook. However I tried to put a working MBP to DFU and couldn't. Also tried to install Apple Configurator on it and it requires macOS Sonoma, I...
