820-00045 not turning on.

Initially this had a screen issue. Screen was showing distorted image. On my way to pick it up the screen had stopped functioning.

i open it and there was water damage on the screen connector.
i get no pp3v3_s4, pp3v3_sus is low at 2.6v, no s3 rails ppbus_g3h is present and the boards light does come on.

Inspect for corrosion everywhere. Could be anything....

the board looked pristine aside from the connector area and that didnt even look that bad. theres only one test point that i see is slightly burnt PCH_SATAPHY_PC continuity is fine for that though.

Could be anything. Inspect better for corrosion and check all rails for shorts. Is the liquid damage even related to the failure it has now?

im assuming so the mac was working before i picked it up maybe since the battery was not disconnected immediately it failed for being on. either way the customer doesnt wanna pay for the repair so im done with this one.
