Laptop no powering up when i connect charger. Somebody told me that board need to be connected to good battery is that true? Don't have board view to check voltage on board. Anybody had this problem b4?

Needs a REAL 85W charger also to power up. I believe it powers up without battery but will have shut down issues.

Got 3V on L7560? Orange light does not mean it is charging, it will turn orange without a battery too. What is PPBUS without battery connected?

Use 3787 board view and brain power, there is no easy way with these board. It could still be a bad battery, not 100% sure these need a working battery. I have no machine to verify this on right now.

am sorry for be we bit not professional here. am learning only 1 year. am fixing plenty macbooks but sometimes i have some problems. am using board view from 3787 but when i search for SMC_ADAPTER_EN testing points on main board is not this same what is on 00138 so is difficult to tall. also battery is dead because when i plugged in its showing me charging . i have 12v and 3.4v on battery connector . i charger it for wee while then disconnect charger and check for voltage it was very low so battery is gone to

Well S4 not being present is the worst thing to diagnose and does not get us anywhere. I need to know if SMC_ADAPTER_EN is high and you need to test the board with a charged battery.
