820-00164 (iCloud Lock) Asking for pin code.

If I swap internal HD the pin code is still there but I can "option" boot to external without problems.

Problem solved. I used boards I purchased online were disabled. I purchased 5 820-00164 boards and three were marked as disabled. I liked this because my repair time was zero. I thought I just had to go in to the bios and remove the security and flash the new board to the SN of the machine I was putting it into. but. That is not all of it........
You also have to wipe the NVRAM "Command-Option-P-R" !
Once the NVRAM was wiped my problem was solved! How interesting...
