Does it do a PRAM reset? Mouse light should go off and on again. Caps lock working on an external keyboard?

no response on pram reset mouse light wil dimm a little bit but wont turn off, tested on 3 keyboard+cables
bios replacement with pram reset bios? to reset then replace right?

Mouse will probably not light if you unplug and put it back in. This board is just brain dead and thus it could be anything. The usual suspects U1950, crap under SMC, clock chip.

Mouse stil lights up even after 20 minutes after beeing on.

pulled in/out alot... and everytime works.

Is this some sort of mouse that always lights up? Try it on a known dead board that power on or a board without RAM, mouse should not light.

I got cought out with a mouse that did that. Had me stummped for ages.

on a know dead board it lights up for a few sec then turns off. also connected a external hdd/ssd caddy. same result on the 00165 keeps on, on the dead board turns off
