820-00165 No light, will run off power or battery but no charge, no indications of water damage. board is super clean. Checked DC in board and jumper. SMC reset was 1.9v but pp3v42_g3h was 3.4v. checked the pull up resistor and it was 100k as its supposed to be. I replaced u5110 and now my SMC reset is 2.9v but it seems it will move around. still no light on charger. i suspect bad SMC. not sure though what should i try.

BTW i get fan spin no prob

BTW customer took this to apple store and they said they replace th IO board which i suspect is the DC in board. this was before it was brought to us.

Battery is recognized under OS X

ppbus_g3h is 8.53v with charger only charger with batt 8.57 batt only 7.3v
pp3v42_g3h charger and battery and battery only same reading 3.42 v

pin15 of u7100 seems to be .079v with any config of battery and charger

SCL 3.4v
SDL 3.4v

100k ohms on both SCL and SDL when tested from pin9 of j6950 to pin4 and pin5 of j6950.

Have you tried a known good IO board and flat cable? Without green/orange light it will not charge ever.
