got in a 820-2850 with a good green light and orange with battery plugged in. it powers on to 1/4 fan spin. was liquid damaged. i took the power rails down, it only gave me voltage when the fan is spinning.
it appear pp18v5_s3 and pp1v05_s5 are missing.

well the only thing i am confused about is where 1v05_s5 is getting connected to power if U7740 is not attached, also c7740 and c7741, r1825 etc are also not attached those are the only places on the board 1v05_s5 shows up. and they are not suppose to be there i checked with other boards, but the schematics do not say no stuff.

should PP18V5_S3 be present also?

Ugh, so you didn't even check if the parts are even on the board. Of course there is no 1V05_s5 if U7740 is not there. Look at the note with U7740 why they thought it might be needed.
18V5 is for trackpad, who cares?

Where was liquid damage?

okay i understand. right that is what i was thinking. the liquid shows bad signs around the graphics and cpu, also like wise on the back side center top area everywhere around the isl6263, i ran it through the UC because it was under the big chips.
