820-2850 SD Card slot not working

Got a MacBook Pro 15" 2010 yesterday, I was informed that the USB ports where dead.
There is no water damage as far as I can tell and the previous owner said he probably overloaded the USB ports with USB hubs.

I have got both USB ports working again, both L4605 and L4610 where open and got replaced.

Mounted the MacBook back together to find that the SD Card slot was dead.

I have done a physical inspection and everything seems fine.

U3500 gets powered, I have 3.3V all the way.

On Q3500 i get 3,2V on Pin 2 and 0V on pin 5, I don't know what these are suppose to be.

On Y3500 i get 1,5V on each side

What do I check for next?

It's usually the slot, check if SD_CD_L goes low when you insert a card. But why bother, they did not complain about it so they are not using it. Not your problem

You are right, after trying several times the card suddenly popped up, so probably just a dirty slot. I bought this one to repair and sell, and if there are any defects its going to affect the value considerably.
