820 2879 No Green light... (WATER DMG)

Been trouble shooting one wire... u6901 pin 5 no voltage and c6908 no voltage tested for short and says OL. Maybe this was dumb i tryed jumping from c6999 str8 to pin 5 on u6901 still no green light. but should i have jumped this ?

Green light by jumping c6999 to u6901 pin 5 did it again and it worked maybe wasnt soldered right... Still no fan spin nothhing hot

Q7085 has traca dmg coming from 16v pin ran jumper from q7085 pin 5 to r7020 f7040 now gets 12vs

still no power sensed a rabbit hole for a cheap board...

Do you gave PP3V3_S5_REG???? If yes short R5015 pads to power on board..... Core 2 duo boards does not power on by itself..

I checked PP3V3_S5_REG i get .900volts so i think its time to troubleshoot that circuit

I undid the jumper wire from q7085 to r7020

Ok this is weird.... c7025 i get 5v on one side and 1v on the other..... ?

ok q7085 pin 4 gives me ol.. measured on both sides of r7086 get 6v on pin 1 0v on pin 2. R7086 gives me OL on pin 1 .500 on pin 2 diode mode... i replaced r7086same result

Ran 2 36 Awg wires from Q7085 to R7020. and its working fine now... What is the amerage between these 2 points ? Are these 2 wires safe or should i add more i dont have a thicker variation. Anyways mark as solved for now thanks aprendiz for the pads tip didnt know.

That is a bit thin if it carries the main bus current.
