820-2915 not booting

Hi Fellows, I have a 820-2915 that powers on green and red light, fans happily spinning but no chime. No obvious liquid damage spotted. So far I have checked if 3.42 makes it to the SMC it seems ok (measured 3.49 though). What more should i check?

CPU V-Core present? Check that and work backwards.

Just for a learning moment; why would you check 3V42 when the board turns on already?

Probably a dead GPU, heat it up and see if it works again, then either battle with Apple to get it fixed under GPU program or replace the GPU.

Thanks for the tips, just been doing this for less then a year so many learning moments needed . Will try to reflow the GPU see if I can get it working like that. And check CPU V-Core as well. Since it is an 15 inch might very well be the GPU.
