hi i got a 820-3115-b with a low ppbus 1.341 v (F7040) when i put on the charger it gives greenlicht but i hear a ticking sound tik tik tik tik tik tik tik
no liqued

Also check resistance between pins 17/18 27/27 on U7000.

resistance pins 17/18 o.000 m ohms and 27/28 0.00 ohms (u7000) and resistance (r5410)-to ground 0.083 and then drops to 0 m ohms

something is wrong on your measures, please check again...

Resistance from F7040 to ground
Resistance on pins 17/18 (one tip on pin 17 the other on pin 18)
Resistance on pins 27/28 (one tip on pin 27 the other on pin 28)

pin 17-18 4.0 m ohms 8.98 m ohms pin 27-28 and F7040 pin 1 to ground 0.8 m ohms

and pin 2 to ground (f7040) 30.34 k ohms

Please look at your measurement and tell me what is wrong. Also what is a m Ohm?

I have a fluke15b+ i Turn it on to resistance mode and when i measure 1 probe on pin 17 other probe on pin 18 thats what i got a m and the resistance sign in corner of the screen ??

I dunno, read the manual on your multimeter.....milli, kilo, mega Ohm, I don't know.....

I found manual on internet and did something wrong ?When i measure now 17-18 multimeter peeps and i see 38.1 and then jumps to 3.8 and 27-28 it peeps and 251.2 then 1.8

and 3v42 is present and still cannot locate the tik tik tik sound when charger is plug in

Are you measuring with power applied???

Not when i maesure resistance

2.991 K 0,250 K en then 0.001 k this is what mine multimeter gives me with no power applied on pin 17-18 1 probe on 17 en the other on probe on 18 and with only the ohms logo on mine multimeter it gives me 249.0 and then 1,3 also on pin17-18

Soo i have good 820-3115-b(backlight problem) and when i measuring (U7000) pin 17-18 i got 4,9 ohms and on pin 27-28 i got 22-9 ohms

And when i measuring the broke one i got on pin 17-18 1,4 ohms and 27-28 firts 4.3 then drops to 1.3 ohms

Then you have to figure out why the readings are wrong. Not that much connected to those pins.

When i look at the schematic 17-18 27-28 is for charger so i put on a good batterij and ppbus on F7040 11.92 v
