820-3208 Liquid Damage Green Light -> No Green Light

Just got in a board that had some heavy water damage to to the board near the LVDS connector. 2 Pins are actually blown off, came in with a green light, after unplugging the battery it would then go from green to orange. Put the board through the Crest and came out with no light on the charger. Checked the ISL area SMC_RESET_L is 3.38v. Tried removing edge bonding and reflowing the SMC no luck.

Does it power on?? Voltage on PPGUB_G3H?? Have you tried another IO board and cable??

Does not power on no fan spin or green light. PPBUS_G3H is 8.18v. I have tried a known good cable and IO board too.

Voltage at SMC_RESET_L? Seems SMC is not working, maybe corrosion/crap under SMC, if SMC_RESET_L is high put some flux to smc and apply heat to remove crap..

SMC_RESET_L is 3.38v, I have tried reflowing, and also removing and rebelling SMC. Still no light.

Still 8.13V on PPBUS_G3H? could be corrosion on IO connector motherboard side or corrosion under battery connector.... measure data lines on battery connector in diode mode....

Probably crap under SMC. Pull if off the board and reball.
