820-3332 no backlight

This board was liquide damage arround lvds connector and lcd cable is damage too. Now have another retina assembly to test.
On board I replaced u9000 and lvds connector. Now I have 5V at L9000

Board power, mouse is on. Cannot see image with flashlight. It is retina screen, I dont know if I can see. Cannot find scl and sda and eeprom supplay. Any idea what to check next?

did you check for video on external monitor?

Yes, video on external is Ok. Mouse is on. Board is workingn but something happend arround lvds area.

if you have another screen i would test with that. if still no video i would check the u9000 and area for the correct voltage( check while known good screen is plugged it).

I think u9000 is ok as I already have 5V at L9000, but I dont know if that mean that the screen is recognized.

Hold a flashlight on the back Apple logo and check if there is an image. Voltage on pin 1 of LCD conn?

No video at all

F9700 is ok

D9701 - 0V

Bad LCD/connector/cable. Are you testing this with a 2012 LCD assembly?

I got this from ebay like: Mid 2012/Early 2013 Lcd Screen Full Assembly Apple MacBook Pro A1398 15" Display

Already I replaced lvds 3 days ago with MBP 13 2012 model. This is the correct lvds, right?

Should be ok then. Check all DP lines from LCD connector to the caps (C9020-28). Maybe corroded trace, bad coils, missing caps?

Ok, Will check all this, but what about missing backlight too? Or first appear image and later backlight?

Without video on the screen there wil never be backlight.
