Bad EEPROM. Stuck a donor on and the machine powers up fine. Now I need to fix the ME.
As Duke pointed out to me a little while ago that I was following a guide written by some mug that don't know what he's doing, I think I may be facing a little bit of a bollock ache.

I will try to get a read from the old chip.

Some guidence/advice please.

Here......

Your file does not have serial number, so the serial number will be different, if you want the same SN, send by PM the serial on the bottom cover..

This file has a clean ME...

Thanks.

There is a problem though. The SSD is seen when booting to installer, will install pre installation files but will not boot from the internal SSD bootloader.
High Sierra, El Cap, can not see bootloader.
When trying to install it will copy install files and then reboot back into the USB image.

I can correct the checksum error. Please send me serial number and I will make a BIOS. This one will need the APFS update so you need to install 10.11 and then update to 10.13 to be able to boot from an APFS formatted SSD.

This machine is still not seeing the bootloader on the SSD, HFS+ El Capitan. I flashed the EEPROM with the new firmware but it's not making a difference.... Maybe there's still a problem with the baord?
SSD is visible when booted into OS from external drive. Behaving like a PCIe SSD does in a PC board with no NVMe support. I have tried other SSDs too, both El Cap HFS+
