820-3437-B ssd not detecting

hi, i have 820-3437b for repairs, the customer said its not detectin ssd, he has tried same ssd in different macbook and it works.
the board doesn't have any signs of liquid damage
i am fairly new with macbook repairs, so i don't know where to start with this type of problem
is there anyone who has dealt with this type of problem before?

Does SSD have High Sierra installed? If yes, probably APFS issue. Boot to USB or internet restore and see if SSD is showing in disk utility. If it does, then either wipe SSD and install OSX fresh and update to High Sierra, or install 2nd SSD, update to High Sierra so board's firmware is updated with APFS support, then replace original SSD.

If SSD does not have HS installed, and issue is not APFS-related, then post back.

This is probably the APFS problem. Just do a clean install on a known good SSD and it will update the board to support APFS.
