Board seems to have been touched by idiots before but I can't find any solder marks, only heat around the CPU (but nothing is melted so I assume it was below 200C)

System has PM_S0_PGOOD but is missing SMC_DELAYED_PWRGD and thus does not boot.

SMC_DELAYED_PWRGD is not shorted to ground

Other then messed up SMC, what could this be? Any clues?

Overlooked PP3V3_S4SW_SNS which is not being created because SMC_SENSOR_PWR_EN is low. Its also not shorted to ground which still makes this an SMC issue.
I've never seen this issue before, any idea why the SMC is keeping SMC_SENSOR_PWR_EN low?

I have Vcore by the way, otherwise there woudn't be PM_S0_PGOOD on this board.

It could be anything, it just means the CPU is not talking to the SMC to release the PGOOD signals. Bad ROM, SMC, CPU, RAM, one stupid missing resistor or cap, something like that.

Hi Smiba,

I got 820-3437 board same issue. I got the cpuvcore,no fan spining coz no PM_PCH_SYS_PWROK as SMC_DELAYED_PWRGD is missing. I replaced the SMC still the same. Did you solve this? or any idea?
THank you.
