820-3787 Backlight kills eDP over and over

No liquid damage at all.

Came in with no backlight.
No short on LCD connector.
Being brain lazy I replaced Q7701, D7701, Q7706, U7701.
Connected new screen and sure enough it provided power to PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT.... Power to short the connector and kill the cable.

Replaced Q7701, Q7706, U7701, got another screen on there, killed the connector but not the cable this time.
Checked feedback, resistor values R7708 = 17k26 and R7709 = 149k5.

Can't find a datasheet on U7750 LP5849 (could just be dumb).
LED return resistors are all 0R. Schematic says LED return <in on pin 2 of each return and then on U7750 it says out, WTF.
No Idea what is going on here.

Any help please?

Yes, pin one is cooked this time

Far too tired now but I'll replace it again after some sleep.
I will also remove hinge cover and check the number on the screens, just to be double sure.

Not sure what else could be shorting it out like this.

Nothing can cause this besides a bad connector/cable/LCD. The connector on the LCD side also is prone to shorting and could kill if there is no fuse on the board.
