Macbook turns on, gets to loading OS X, at about 70% through it shuts off.
Hardware test gives me error PPM002 and the macbook shuts off when trying to boot through to recovery partition, or shortly after it does boot.
Memtest throws errors (last try about 127 of em) and stopped at [CPU Error] Could not start cpu 0

I don't know what happened to cause this, its owned by someones kid who claims not to know (no, really!). No serious dents/bends on the outside, nothing out of place or damages on the inside either. Havent taken the board out yet.

Yeah RAM issue. The worst problem. Could be bad RAM chip, bad soldering on RAM or CPU. Could have been dropped. You can try to reflow the RAM, but besides that this will be a no fix.
