820-4924 - Slow, SMC was replaced.

I have a board that works normally except it's really slow and gives these errors:
"There may be an issue with the System Management Controller (SMC) Reference Code: PFM006"
"There may be an issue with the power management system. Reference Code: PPN001."

The SMC was definitely replaced. Any ideas what might be happening? Is this the result of an incorrect SMC being installed? Wrong year maybe?

Seems like the right version from what I can tell.

Q5480 and Q5490 are both passing 12.6V through and the voltage is being dropped down properly to 2V for the SMC.

Yes, definitely. Someone replaced the SMC, or at least did extensive work on it. No issue with iStat. Everything normal.

Make sure to visually inspect all current sensors (INA21*) and after that I would first put a known good SMC on there.
