A1425 has 2 fans, are we sure we are talking about an A1425 here?

yeah your right, someone set a diff retina cover on it. it is a A1502 board number 820-4924 A

4924 does NOT spin the fan until the CPU gets warmer. Try another trackpad flex/trackpad in general cable is super common failure point on 4924
