Hello,
We have a MacBook Pro A1989 with a 820-00850 board, it does not power on, fans do not spin, no chime while the board is in the MacBook it starts at using .04 amps and goes up to .70-.80 then drops to .10 and loops at 20v, the board taken out it starts at .06 and reaches .24 as it reaches 20v and drops and stays at .04~.08.
Our thermal camera shows activity in t2 and USB controllers, we were able to get it into DFU but failed to revive the device saying "Gave up Waiting For device to transition from DFU state to DFU state.
While we were attempting to revive the device the amps kept looping from .05 - .70.
Client mentioned no damage and stated "motherboard working", we tried putting the board in another working MacBook but still no boot.
What should we start with checking first?
I attached a photo of the error message.
Regards,
Zeydulla.
