I've got an A2779 here with minor liquid damage, but the lid angle sensor is in awful condition and I'd like to replace it. Mobile Sentrix sells one but I'm wondering if I can replace it by itself, or of I would have to replace the panel as well, because they are paired?

Can I replace a lid angle sensor on A2779 without replacing the display panel?
