A small contribution to limiting the amount of e-waste due to cosmetic reasons…
And since I did not find a single forum where they mention the below, I thought it would be interesting to post it here:
I had multiple chargers for Macbooks that turned yellow nearby the connector. For cosmetic reasons no one was interested and they piled up, to the point I wanted to recycle them.
But, I left one out in the sun on my terras during 2 hours and I noticed it got white again.
I “bleached” my stock this way.
Attached you can see the effect of one side in the sun for 2 hours and the original yellow other side.
I do not know how long this patch works, but seems stable after 3 weeks.
So get out, get some sun and take your chargers with you!
