hot tweezer functionality under $500

Is this possible? I have the hakko fx951 but it's not compatible with hakko's tweezers. I've seen portable units under $100 but they're not designed to handle very small smd's. has anyone tried using two soldering irons? thanks for any help!

for anyone curious, I found used Weller wmrt desoldering tweezers and used compatible base station on ebay for a total of about $350
