iMac 27" Late 2009 backlight issues

Hi everyone,
The iMac had a problem with the display panel's backlight, after a few minutes of usage the display went black.
After an inverter board and the display panel were replaced the problem persists. Any ideas?

I have had the PSU cause issue, but it can also be the GPU. Is it really the backlight that goes out or just the whole screen goes off?

It's only the backlight, you can see the picture when you light the display with a flash light. So I'll check it with a replacment PSU then

Curious if the power supply fixed this unit?

Very common issue with the LED strips inside the LCD. Completely rip apart the LCD, take out the 2 LED strips and reflow every LED and the connector.

I will ask the customer if they approve, very strange I have 2 of these iMacs in the shop with similar problems....

That's why I said it is VERY common. 2010 and later are a lot better but it still happens.
