Imac graphic compatibility

All graphic card 2009-2011 21` and 27` are interchangable?

Belive all but the 2GB 6970M in the late 2009 27" Core 2 duo. (the 1GB card works)

Also id shy away from using The bigger cards like the 4850 and 6970 in 21.5" machines, i dont believe they will work (due to heat and power consumption, i dont think any 21.5: imac will take MXM 3.0 type B, only MXM 3.0 Type A)
Please correct me if im wrong.

All 27" cards will work in any model. But they are all shit and will die, fix the original!

Well, what I need is to buy IMAC to test customers graphic card. Some customer send me only cards and I replace GPU, but I cannot test them. So, I want to buy a imac 21.5 from 2009. So can I test card from Imac 27 in my 21.5 2009? Or it is better to buy another model?

No you buy a 2010 27". You can insert cards in those without taking the board out if you remove the bracket. 2009 21.5 cards are the only ones that will ONLY work in a 2009 21.5. The rest is all interchangeable.
