I got this machine after it was at another workshop, they removed the EFI U6100 and the U5870, I replaced them from a dead board but now i got fan spinning and stuck in the middle of boot line, I understand from someone that the EFI need to be reprogrammed can anyone guide me to it? Louis I know that you are against removing EFI etc. but this one came like that, the costumer delivered the machine with another issue to this butcher but got it back with no power (half spinning fans).
Also, what if I replace the SMC to? will that fix the problem?
