MacBook8.1 12" early 2015 not charging, sticky keys so possibly liquid damage. No backup, owner needs data back
Duke? is this something for you to repair. Repair for datarecovery only is fine,

i would like to do it myself, but i don't have microscope (yet) or parts. For now the mb is @ Card in Utrecht, but i am sceptical about the outcome.
i am in Hilversum.

Uhm get it away from CARD ASAP. They cannot do anything but replace it for $$$$. Now they well also charge you for even looking at it.

i know Card very well, indeed they are expensive but with replacing the logicboard the client does not get his data back, and the data is only what is needed and for this client money is no issue (some CEO)
where are you located?

Leeuwarden NL. Just get it away from CARD as they will not get the data. If you want to send this to me contact me for my address in PM.

I cannot promise I can get the data, but at least there is a 75% chance instead of 0% at CARD.
