mbp 2011 17" not turning on

gets power and charges but no visible activity with power button
i'm assuming standard bad gpu, but i've been out of the game so long i can't remember if they would behave this way, my recollection is it would at least turn on right?
what rails should i check?

Probably not using an ORIGINAL Apple 85W charger, must use 85W or it will not turn on if battery is empty.

battery charges and is fully charged, green light
so ppbus-g3h is fine
doesn't turn on with charged battery

Green light does not prove the battery is charged, battery indicator showing full charge?
Was the GPU messed with? Check for shorts, especially GPU rails.

yes bil shows fuels and charging when i try another battery. i don't think anyone messed with gpu, though maybe it was replaced by apple under the program

First check what date code is on the GPU. If this is still a 2011 one then you can put time and effort into this thing and it will have a dead GPU in 3 months.
