[SOLVED]820-00165 running slow

fix a customers 00165 board they are complaining it is running slow and they say the fan starts off slow but slowly increase to full speed. what could cause it to run slow? i honestly didn't notice it running slow so not sure if its actually a problem or if the customer is just being fussy. i told them to do an smc reset but they said it made no difference.

Sensor issue of course, the most common is trackpad........ Hold "D" on startup to run diagnostic.....

activity monitor shows the cpu is running at full..

Did you run diagnostic????? also could be a bad battery....

i dont have the board the customer does, i told them to run diagnostics they said they did and that the cpu is running at full i'm not sure why they didn't tell me how diagnostics went.. this was a mail in repair so i will have to wait to get it back.

Make sure they're not using a chinese charger, too. Trackpad, trackpad cable, IO cable, battery. Check them all.

diagnostic gave smc PFM006, firmware PFR001, Additional's NDC001, PPN001, VDH002. Also to note i did Not have a battery connected in case any codes relate to that.

reflowed the smc and all the errors went away. fans running normal. (solved)
