Hi.

Board does not detect internal audio. Shoved the stem of an ear bud in there and it detects audio.
In a absence of a replacement jack, is there a line I can cut or short to enable internal audio permanently?

... Connect pin 2 and pin 1 of J6700?

I tried searching for the jacks to buy in but I'm not finding anything. Any suggestions?

Scrap boards of course. Jacks are the same on 13"

All the jacks on 15.4" and 13.3" are all the same size but not the same as the 17" matte screen. The 17" MacBook Pro 820-2849 board's jacks are slightly longer.
I looked through every board in the pile to find the right size and came up short.

Turns out that it just needed a UC. Dirty contact or something.

Oh yeah the 17" are indeed different.
