[SOLVED]820-2850 Only starts up occasionally

Hello, This is my 1sr Post as i JUST Joined!!!...I have a 820-2850 that has a Green Light that turns to orange and ONLY Occasionally will boot up normally. it runs Perfect when it DOES start up... If i shut it down most of the time it will not start back up unless it sits for a while...once it starts up it will run off of the battery just fine and charges just fine...I have so far replaced...The Keyboard, The Battery, have replaced C9560 (Twice)...I am also using a Genuine 85w charger and Just cant figure this out!!!...PLEASE HELP!!!...Its DRIVING ME CRAZY!!

Also...Here are some of the Power rails I have measured.

ppbus_g3H..... 12.6v
ppbus_cpu_imvp_isns.... 12.56v
ppdcin_g3h..... 16.7v
pp3v42_g3h.....3.38v

pp5v_s5....5.95v

pp3v3_s5.....3.3v

pp1v8_s0.....0.0v

pp1v05_s5....0.0v

HOPE SOMEONE can Help Me...Thank You...Sorry if I am Coming across as an idiot on here as this is my first Post here and i HAVE NO IDEA if I am even posting correctly!!...lol...Thank You Again in advance for Your help.

When it doesn't want to work it won't even power on with a SMC Reset Power on attempt...It like it goes Completeley Dead...It has me 100% stumped!!!...I Just went in and it turned right on With the Charger connected....I unplugged the Charger and it continued running Perfectly then an Hour later I shut it down and AGAIN Zero response when.attempting to turn it back on with or without the Charger...Whenever It does that where it won't turn back on The MagSafe light on the Charger does turn green when the power button is pressed but it won't power up????

Hi, I put it thru the ultrasonic cleaner already as it has a bit of corrosion around the J6995 area as well as the U5930 area...Also When it would not boot again today after it ran perfectly for about 2 Hours I then checked PPBUS_G3H and Get 12.56v on pin 2 of R5388 and also checked PP3V42 on L6995 and I Get 3.38v on poth pin and pin 2....Anyone have any ideas?...Please...

I also checked PPBUS_G3H with just the Battery installed and no magsafe attached and I get 12.39 on R5388(Pin2)....is it Normal to get 12.56V With Boyh the Battery and the Charger connected and only 12.39v with Just the Battery connected?...in SO STUMPED RIGHT NOW!!!...LOL...Anyone Have any suggestions where to start???

PPBUS_G3H would be the battery voltage when its the only power source connected, don't worry about it. 12.39V means the battery is holding a good amount of charge.

:) Well I Guess since it's New Year's Eve all the Experts are Partying and Celebrating!!!...HOPEFULLY the Calvary will arrive in the next couple of days before I throw this thing out the window...WITHOUT OPENING IT!!...lol...Happy New Years to All of You!!!!

I still say water damage some where or crap under SMC, ultrasonic cleaner does not make bad connection becomes good!!

I have Completely checked for water damage Everywhere on the Board and it all looks Good. The area around the SMC was Very clean before the Ultrasonic cleaning and there was Very Little corrosion near the J6995 area before cleaning. Should I Try putting Flux around the SMC and heating it up a little just in case?

Could be so many things. As this was liquid damage and already cleaned all evidence is now gone. Could be crap under the SMC or PCH or corroded resistor or trace, inspect closely under microscope.

Okay will do Duke...Thank You So Much for responding!!!...I am going to look VERY CLOSELY at the Entire Board and I will get back to you...I did notice that when it won't turn on I get 0.0v on the PP1V05 Rail and also 0V on all s3 and S0 Rails...I will look CLOSELY under the Microscope.....Thanks Again Duke

Okay...I have checked EVERYWHERE on the Board under the microscope and see no corrosion or corroded caps...The only place there was a small amount of corrosion was around the J6995 area...Its Nice and clean now...the Laptop works Absolutely perfect until I turn it off and then it wont restart unless you wait about 45min to an Hour...SO WEIRD!!!.. PLEASE HELP!!!!...
