[SOLVED] 820-2936 no trackpad {bad U5805}

The trackpad sometimes works just a little bit on some parts but its mostly dead.
Tried other cables and trackpads with same resoults.
The connector gets very hot when the computer starts.
Everything else seems to work.
The board is clean and have no signs of liquid

U5805 Pin 2 is 4,9 volt other pins 0 volt

Something is getting hot? I'd find out what it is, I doubt it is the connector. 18V will only be present if TP is connected.

Check U5805. Sounds like it might be shorting to ground, and is heating up directly behind the trackpad connector. Also explains the no-trackpad.

yes, without tp connected u5805 doesnt get hot but when tp is connected it goes hot very fast

Replace U5805.
