[SOLVED]820-3023 board quarter fan spin!

got this board 820-3023, it has quarter fan spin , it spin for less then 1 sec then turn off... pbus_g3h is good, constant 8.5 v,


is it he issue with current sensing register?

i chked

PM_SLP_S4_L

PM_SLP_S3_L

PM_SLP_S5_L


this coming and going off. whenit come for 1/10 sec fan spin for .05 sec...


is there is caps shot!!

come on, put some effort!!!!!! Where is water damage?? Check SPI resistors and lines.... Is in on-off loop??

some one really cleaned the before i got it, which one SPI resistor? could give all possible hint ... thank you

First check voltage on Y2705, it should not spike over 1.6V when in power cycles. Then check resistors from SPI chip R5110 R5120 and the rest around that area.

around spi chip one register was missing, after changing that it quater fan spin gone!!!!

but ... its turns on when i apply 16v from my bench power supply to the board ,

if i connect magsafe there is no green light board does not turn on, on dcin rail i see only 2v..... when i put 16 v in same rail board turn on nicely, i also put a new dc in board but no luck...

solved!!!
im a FUCKING STUPID ,, I REPEAT IM A FUCKING STUPID....... see last post i said no power!!!!!!........ here what i did when doughter board was open (out of case) i was trying with magsafe 2.... but this is 2012, use magsafe 1.... and i was trying 2 days..... my all hair is gray already ......


r5120 was missing ..that why quater fan spanning ....now everything works perfectly
