Hey guys working on on this 820-3435 air no water damage, customer used the mac one morning and shut it down came back to use it and it would not turn on. iItried smc reset at first but noting happened, green light did not cycle from green to orange. Tried this twice with no luck that's when i started to check the rails. Is the smc at fault, or is it something else telling the smc to power cycle SMC_PM_G2_EN.

Why would a battery fix this? It power on fine without battery.

Is the green/orange light present? PPBUS voltage? S5_PWRGD pulsing high?

I've had boards that don't turn on in with a bad battery plugged in that's the only reason I thought it could cause issues.

Charger light is present and solid Pbus Voltage steady 8.59 S5_PWRGD is pulsing hi 3.3v

All boards will turn on if the correct charger is used. So always use 85W REAL ORIGINAL chargers for testing.
