[SOLVED]820-3536 chime with backlight but no image

User claims it suddenly flashed a white screen then stopped, when turning it on now it fanspins, chimes, backlight comes on but no image internal/external.
CPU gets hot but capslock doesnt work. Ideas?

Tried unplugging everything except dcin and screen, PRAM and SMC reset, same situation

No evidence of liquid or drops

Is backlight on screen white screen? I would go with bad LCD more than likely

Tried known working lcd same, black screen with backlight

Also if Bad LCD wouldnt external video work? and capslock

Removed SSD? Black screen with backlight is kind of the normal boot up situation before ? or Apple logo.

Tried with and without SSD, Question mark never shows

Possibly corrupt ROM. Swap with donor board, be sure to keep original for ME region transfer!

Replaced U6100 from donor, now boots 10sec after pressing power. Do I now read original ROM and transfer to donor chip?

Is this a chip from a China donor or from your own pile, is it from 3536 or 3476, could cause 4GB/8GB/16GB problems.
Upload both dumps here and I can transfer over the ME region and possibly serial number.

Try this one, not 100% sure it will work. Watch out that you don't change the "quad enable" bit. If you have a TL866 then uncheck the "flash status register" then the "quad enable" will remain untouched. EZP2010 is not able to change it so then don't worry.
