Hey Duke, working on this touchbar mac I'm so freaking confused on where to start PPDCIN_G3H is only pushing out 5 v. Where do i start to look for the issue i checked all power rails resistance to ground and cant find any shorts, I need help to understand how this new system works.

    SMC doesn't communicate with charger...

Do you get 5V at R7020?
If not, post LDO voltages for CD3215A corresponding of the USB-C port where you connect the charger.

    3V3 at L6900?
If not, post some voltages for U7000.

U7000 can generate normal voltage at F7000 with 5V at R7020.

To get nominal voltage from charger, all CD3215A controllers must boot.
Check for corrosion at U2890; seems to be a common failure for 5V from charger...

R7020 Voltage is 5v.xx but cycling
LDO voltage for CD3215 is 3.4XX but is cycling as well
F7000 is 0.52 V No short to ground
        no corrosion under U2890

Input voltage at F3000/01, or FB200/01 also fluctuates?
None of all 4 ports stable?

Measure voltages around U7000 when you get 5V at R7020.
Voltage of L6900 at the same moment?
