820-2936-A Enters S0 State but doesnt turn on.

Hello guys and i want to state that i am very glad to be among this community.

I need some advice on a 820-2936 that has a green light, got s0 voltages but doesnt turn on.
I have already replaced the SMC on this one.
Looking on some previous posts, i read about PLT_RST_L that in my case is missing. Any clues on where that voltage comes from?

Post voltage for CPU coils.
Did you take the SMC from the exact same board model?

Did you test different DDR3 module, one at a time?

L7630 has 1.05 volts, SMC was not taken from an excact same board due to the lack of one but it has excactly the same part number. Is it programmed for a specific motherboard?
There is no reason to test different modules, the machine does not start. I got 5v on fan but no fan spin. 3.3V S0 is there but the machine wont start.

Yes there's your problem the SMC MUST come from the identical board number so you need an SMC from and 820-2936 board.

SMC has firmware, according with board model.
Never check the marking code; just take one from identical board.

Thanks a lot for your responses.
I am from Greece so ordering an excact same model donor board takes like a month or more to arrive here, and customers are not willing to wait for that long.
Anyways, i m assuming i have to preorder everything and keep them in stock for future use.
By the way, is there a programmer for that kind of things?
I mean, like bios chips? Or main controllers?

Nothing to do for f**g SMCs.
Apple keeps the secret better than Solomon's mines...

Think which MacBook boards you work more habitual.
Then order 3-5 scrap boards for each model.
You will get better quote from seller.
