12" Macbook 820-00244-A not charging

Hi,

Unit works while plugged in only. Showing 0%, battery just under 500 cycles.
Is there some common issue with those, or just dodgy battery?

Post voltages for F7040 and 3V3_G3H on battery only.

F7040 6.99v on both ends
3V3_G3H is 3.3v - checked in 3 different points

Now connect charger (plus battery) and post voltages for Q7055.
Looks like you have bad battery...

Q7055 is blocked by U7000, so no charge possible.
I recommend you to test known good battery.
Any history available?

Dent in the bottom left corner on the screen tells me that it was dropped.
No history otherwise
Ok, I will source a new battery and see how it goes

Really strange, Q7055 is enabled now, and PPBUS_G3H looks like charging.
OSX reports battery percentage at least?
Does it start on battery only?
Be sure SYS_DETECT is high and SYS_DETECT_L is low.
Try pressing SW6900 few seconds...
