Yes. Also, when I do an SMC reset, the current goes down to 350mA (like without fuses) while pressing the key combo and after letting go. Than it won't turn on (draw more amps) anymore unless I replug the charger.

Sorry, that wasn't clear. The PCH only gets hot when it's trying to turn on. When I turn it off by pressing the power button, it's as if the fuses were removed, except without fuses it's drawing 20mA more.

Without the fuses the PCH stays cold and the SMC is barely (~1°C) warmer then room temperature. With the fuses the PCH gets almost as hot as the CPU. The SMC stays as before. Any way to rule out or confine without blindly replacing those two?

i needed lots of heat to get them off, because the heat sink was still. maybe i should have removed it. PPVCCCPU is 0.95 initially, then drops to 0.

Any advice what to do next? Do U7210/7220 get that hot on a good board?

I changed both, not it doesn't turn on at all. Drawing only 290mA. Did i toast the CPU?

I just tried ubuntu from a pendrive. The OS froze after generating some CPU load.

Same error with battery connected. Blue Windows screen with ACPI_BIOS_ERROR.

I tried installing via Boot Camp. After restart, it tries to boot into the Windows Installer, but gives ACPI_BIOS_ERROR right at the beginning. I did this all while J6951 is disconnected.

The bios is from badcaps forum, described as 100% working. I checked the resistors and traces (except to the cpu pads) and all seems well.
