no history other than it just suddenly died. yes tried SMC reset as well. i thought PLT_RST_L signal indicates that BIOS loadout is complete and CPU is talking to EFI? anyway i will try finding for the a clean BIOS first

low battery sign appearing on known good LCD, my guess is the orignal LCD is dead. but that does not explain why it does not boot will try a battery first, but i thought the a1707 did not need a battery to boot and with battery i can't do smc bypass?

    820-00045 USB-C not working

update. i manage to fix this. So keypoint is that it USB C works 1 side and not the other. U7860 was the culprit. for the others if USB not detected, check u4520 and u4400. u7860 and u7865 for the flip side.

    820-00928 Pulsing

The only I can get it to boot now is injecting 5v into pp5v_s0. That ways everything seems to work perfectly fine, I'll post diagnostic and hwmonitor soon

    820-00928 Pulsing

so smc bypass is, remove battery, hold on power button and plug in charger? is that right even for type c models? and board is totally clean. no liquid spill. no small corrosions as well

    820-00928 Pulsing

ntg, PS get stuck at 5v and no response after that, so i tried ejecting 3.5v on pp5v_s4 and p5vs0_en both at the same time, and i'm able to get 3.5v output on pp5v_s0, which means chip is working. there must be something else causing dropping power. thinking might be 5v sense line.
