    thanks for your input John but u6100 is not the bios chip. Its a simple logic gate it provides the (cs) chip select for the bios. The device won't work without it. so its not necessary to transfer the ME region. Duke, please correct me if I'm wrong...

    820-2914 with fan spinning but no image on screen or external monitor

    hello im currently working on a MacBook 820-2914 that shows green light on MagSafe but no display. It shoes't show a image on the screen or external monitor. Is this a gpu issue? From what I can see, it looks like the bios chip has been swapped or resolder. can this cause such problem? THanks,

    [SOLVED]820-3435-A doesn't see battery

    the battery wasnt been recognize by the OS. During inspection i found the lines SMBUS_SMC_5_G3_SDA & SDL were shorted to ground. After correcting the bad soldering (pin 10 & 11) on isl6259 the battery was back in action. i cant believe I miss tis. Thanks for the input guys!
